Jetty Island

Trails

Jetty Island is a two-mile-long, man-made island in the City of Everett, featuring a wide swath of sandy beach. The park is open during the summer months only, and is accessible via foot ferry from the Everett waterfront.

Over 30,000 people visit Jetty Island each year. The park offers programs ranging from guided nature walks to volleyball tournaments, and day camps throughout the season.

WHERE THE WHALES ARE

Gray whales are often seen from Jetty Island in the spring. Seals, sea lions and river otters are also commonly seen. Orcas occasionally pass by in the fall. Any place on the island looking west is the best place to spot marine mammals.
