WHERE THE WHALES ARE

An accessible paved path skirting the Sidney waterfront offers unobstructed ocean views. Two piers put observers out over the water for a closer look. Harbour seals are abundant and can often be viewed waiting for scraps from the fish market. Sea lions have been seen thermoregulating and transiting through the area. Transient, or Bigg’s, killer whales are seen several times a year.
