AMENITIES

Trails

This steep hike climbs up switchbacks and stairs through a dense tree canopy to the top of the 15 bluffs. Two viewpoints and three benches allow you to fully appreciate the scenery from 100 metres above sea level. The first view shows Bedwell Harbour Marina and South Pender, while the second looks toward Swanson Channel and Vancouver Island in the distance. The Olympic Mountains can be seen on a clear day, and the lucky visitor may see orcas passing below. Note: This trail can be hazardous in wet or windy conditions, and caution is required at the top where there is a sheer cliff down to the water.
