K pod is the smallest of the southern resident pods, and currently consists of 14 members. A new calf was added to the pod in 2022 when Spock (K20) gave birth to Prosper (K45).
K pod occasionally travels as far south as Monterey Bay, and often travels with either L pod, J pod or both!
